Haidilao Emporium

Haidilao is a well-known international hotpot brand from China, with a strong presence across Melbourne. This project marks the opening of their third store in the city, distinguished by a brand-new design concept. Unlike the previous outlets, this store is part of Haidilao’s next evolution, aiming to deliver a luxury dining experience that elevates hotpot culture to a new level.

s2dio-X has been appointed as the second design team to continue and further develop the initial concept, ensuring it is adapted seamlessly to Melbourne’s market and context. The proposed site covers nearly 800m², including a 240m² back-of-house kitchen. Key features of the new concept include: A custom-designed drinks bar within the waiting zone to enrich the pre-dining experience.
